When: Saturday, October 19, 2013, 8:45 am to 12 noon
Where: Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve State Park
(13802 Pumpkin Hill Road - turn left off Cedar Point Road onto Pumpkin Hill Road and then left at the State Park sign. Park in the grassy lot.)
What: Trail maintenance - lopping and chopping and clearing trails. We will be trimming vegetation and removing fallen debris.
Other: Please wear long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy shoes to protect your extremities while working. A pair of gloves and a hat and bug spray are also recommended . Also, bring loppers and/ or clippers if you have them. Other trail tools will be provided and trimming techniques will be explained prior to work. Extra gloves, water and snacks will be provided. Children should be 13 and older. Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
