There is a Student Orientation for those
accepted on January 25, 2014

This is a national competition, with 27
competition categories’ including the Sciences, Humanities, Performing
Arts, Visual Arts, and Business.

Each students can compete in UP TO THREE
AREAS

Past ACT-SO participants include actors Anthony
Anderson and Jada Pinkett-Smith, film makes John Singleton and recording artist
Kanye West.
Who is eligible?
·
Students of African descent ,who are US
citizens, enrolled in grades 9-12, amateurs in their categories’ of
competition.
